The Brookshire Red Cross office distributed about 3700 yards of outing to roughly 285 families aged 1 to 108. The relief went to mainly negro and Mexican residents, with praise for organizers though minor errors occurred in handling hundreds of applicants.
Nettie Hall, a colored school teacher west of Brookshire, died from a gunshot wound received about a week earlier. She was about 49, popular in her community. The report notes her husband and an unclear incident and mentions Judge A B Anderson suffering flu.

The University of Texas received 202283 more in oil royalties in 1932 than 1931, with 1201502.46 collected in 1932 versus 999779.31 in 1931. Since royalties began, UT has amassed 15968181.79, funding permanent improvements from the income.
