A philosophical tract asserts that agitators who foment strife between capital and labor miss the point. It declares capital and labor are the same essence with capital being yesterday's labor and tomorrow's capital, uniting city and country, office and factory, bank and farm as expressions of human labor.
AM Highrabedian and son Serape Berberian with J H Peo ny were in Sealy last Wednesday. H A Harvey and family of Route 1 passed through Thursday enroute to Rosenberg to visit their sons down with the flu.

A Saturday night Valentine party at Bell's drew a nice crowd and a pleasant time for all. Several local residents, including Raymond and Edwin Mikeska, visited relatives through the week. Dances and visits occurred at various homes with families and neighbors sharing social events.

The Times announces F M Wendt’s bid for County Commissioner of Precinct 6, filed as a Democrat. Born in Austin County, he has lived in the county forty years, farming and stockraising, and pledges to run on an anti klan platform to protect free government while seeking votes in the July primary.
Foytasek attended the dance near Walter Saturday night. Joe and Frank Zadelesky spent Sunday with Bill Stephen. Urbanek and sons Walter and Elvin were at Frank Kasper's Sunday evening. The Pattison dance drew a large crowd and was enjoyed. John Urbanek and family with Frank Stephan and wife of Houston spent Saturday night and Sunday along this route with relatives. Little J D Baethe, recently ill, shows improvement. Elsie and Babs Stephan attended the dances. Edward Kucurek and wife of Wallis visited Sunday with Mrs Kate Repza and Miss Mollie Foytasex. Mrs Sadie Wilson and daughter June visiting relatives here. Mrs John Sostak spent Monday with her sister Mrs Herman Paethe. Mollie Foytasek spent Sunday with Anita Holik. John Sostak was a Brookshire visitor Monday. Miss Lucile Willis of Brookshire attended HilPolds dance last Saturday night. Notary work available.
