A busy spell of local social life is noted with a party at N. M. Christenson’s home on Thursday night and a Sunday visit by Mr. and Mrs Charles Brejeba to their daughter Mrs. J. H. Breeze. G H. Bremer arrived from Houston to spend several days, Essie Brown hosted a 42 party Tuesday evening, and Led Foster left Friday for Fairbanks to visit his daughter Mrs. H. Hulbert. J. Smith and wife are also reported visiting relatives.

Dr Bains Condition Worsens After Hemorrhages
News from Houston reports Dr L W Bains condition deteriorated with three hemorrhages. For days his status had seemed to improve, raising hope he might leave the sanitarium, but Thursday’s development prompted his family to travel to Houston immediately.

42 Club Entertained with Prize Winners Named
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wells hosted the 42 Club gathering last evening. Participants played 42 for several hours, awarding first prize a rug to Mrs. Max Wander and booby prizes a soap rake to Mrs. W. L. Rogers Jr. Pelmons provided sandwiches fruit salad cream puffs and coffee.
