Radio Keeps Boys Busy and Girls at Home in Portland
Rufus Rothrock of Ben son Polytechnic in Portland Oregon built a tiny radio receiver the size of a silver dollar that receives all local stations and is now crafting a finger tip electric motor. The piece argues radio keeps youths out of trouble and suggests home radios may curb reckless social habits by keeping teens at home learning wholesome crafts and dancing.
