William Semmeler dies February 10 1922 at 6 30 PM aged 80 years 1 month 10 days born in Prussia he joined the Tiger Division Washington Artillery in the Army of the Potomac later farmed in Texas moving to Waller County he married Emma Brookshire who had died about a year earlier funeral Saturday at Brookshire Cemetery conducted by Rev J E White with burial at Brookshire Cemetery he left only relatives by marriage and lived with his niece Mrs R G Farrar Times extends condolence to the grieving family

42 Club Hosts 42 Evening With Prize and Guests
Mr and Mrs A H Muske hosted the 42 club meeting last Tuesday evening. Twelve games were played with Fred Momeny winning ten games and receiving 12 pounds of home grown sausage as the first prize. D O Martin won the booby prize, a comical Valentine. A luncheon followed including chicken salad coffee Ambrosia and cake. Mesdames E H Martin H N Savoy were absent ill. Mrs Selma Gra and Miss C Brugger attended as guests. Mr Collings will entertain in two weeks.
