Notice sought depository bids for Waller County Texas
Up to ten oclock A M February Stay 14 bids or proposals will be received by the Commissioners Court of Waller County Texas from any banking corporation association or individual banker in said county that desire to be selected as the depository of the funds of such county for the ensuing two years All proposals or bids shall be filed with the county clerk of said county by ten oclock A M of said date and cash shall be accompanied by certified check for the sum of 3800 as a guarantee of good faith on the part of the bidder said check to be payable to the County Judge of said county Given under my official signature at Hempstead Texas this th day of January A D 1915 J D Hart County Judge in and for Waller County Texas

Christian Endeavor Meeting Draws Members At M I Church
A Sunday gathering saw over seven percent of active Christian Endeavor members attend at the M I Church. The discussion centered on "The Christian Endeavor That Counts." The Prayer Meeting committee did not meet last week but will nominate quarterly leaders this week. Miss Mary Uelen Bains was appointed by the President to lead the Sunday meeting on the 44th inst.

Women’s Home Missionary Society Held Meeting at Church
The Women’s Home Missionary Society met at the Methodist Church on Friday afternoon in February. Officers for 1915 were elected: President Mrs FE A Cooper, First VP Mrs W B Dewitt, Second VP Mrs T S Williford, Vice Secretary Mrs EC Adams, Cor and Treasurer Mrs W D Mills, Publicity Superintendent Mrs L C Downman. A social meeting will be held on the third Friday each month at members’ homes.
