Nelson and Bean New 42 Champs Of Katy FFA Tournament
In the Fifth Annual Katy FFA 42 Tournament the main bracket champions were Nelson and Bean who defeated last year’s winners Ernstes and Goates in a deciding third game. In the consolation bracket Lambert and Moe bes defeated Hartman and Gregory to claim their title. The Katy Chapter awarded trophies and praised community support for the event.

Services Held Tuesday For Rev. Sadler Retired Minister
Rev. G Z Sadler a beloved local citizen died Sunday night at his Pattison home after two years illness. Funeral from First Methodist Brookshire with burial in Forest Park. He served in many Texas towns and retired in 1950 after 36 years in the Texas Conference. Survived by wife Sally and four children, 14 grandchildren, one great grandchild.
