Allan Johnston, former industrial salesman with United Gas Pipe Line Co, takes over as manager of industrial sales effective January 15. The Shreveport based executive succeeds Harry E. Randall who died in Houston last month. Johnston, born in Hernando Mississippi, has a long career in gas and engineering spanning Arkansas Montana Oklahoma and Texas.
