Mrs Regina Gregory died suddenly at 7 00 a m Saturday December 14 at her home in Freeport Born December 29 1892 in Bellville she was the daughter of Mr and Mrs Laas and married Clyde Gregory in June 1920 Services were held at the Presbyterian Church in Freeport at 3 00 p m Monday Interment in Freeport Survivors include Clyde two daughters Mrs Terry Maxwell of McCamey and Mrs Harold Thorp of Harlingen a son Leo of Denton a sister Mrs Charlie Becker of Anderson a brother G H Laas of Brookshire and eight grandchildren

Truck Swerves To Avert Collision In Midsize Fog Crash
A eastbound trailer truck swerved to miss a school bus in fog near Katy and overturned at 7 45 AM. The 138000 pound carrot load damaged the bus fender but no serious injuries occurred.
