Coffin Found Dead at Sea Island Home

Ohio State University agronomist D R Dodd notes dairy cows harvest about a sixth of an acre daily on average pasture. With typical yields of three tons per acre annually, a cow producing 25 to 35 pounds of milk daily needs 250 pounds of grass each day, which may lack protein and minerals. He urges lime fertilizer and improved grass mixes to correct pasture deficiencies and lower costs for milk and meat.
