Mass Held For Accident Victims In Brookshire
Funeral services were held at Sacred Heart Church Brookshire for Raul Roy Mu noz 29 and his sister in law Lupe Lemos 1 both killed in a Sunday auto accident August 3 1969. Interment followed at Futshear Cemetery Schmidt Funeral Home in charge. Roy son of Alberto Hernandez Tobar and Maria Munoz born Needville reared by Manuel Munoz married to Delphina Lemos and employed by Walker Kurth Lumber Co. in Katy. Survivors include wife seven children a mother and brother and other relatives. Lupe daughter of Marcos Lemos and Geneeva Sal yar died in Waller County Hospital survived by her parents and brothers and sisters including Mys Roy Munoz

Two Die In Saturday Night Head On Collision
A head on collision Saturday near Mona ville on FM 259 killed Brookshire residents Roy Munoz and Lupe Lemos. Passenger Delphine Munoz was injured and later moved to Hermann Hospital in critical condition. The 1959 Chevrolet and the 1968 Ford collided during a passing attempt, with several occupants transported to Waller County Hospital and later releases reported.
