Susie A Becker and Dr William H Seemann wed at St Francis Church in an ornate ceremony attended by family and a full congregation. The bride wore white liberty silk with duchesse lace, and the event featured violin and harp music, organized ushers, and an elegant reception at the Becker home with toasts to the couple and expressions of domestic virtue and partnership.

W Lee Chandler died after a fifteen day battle with typhoid fever at his sister Mrs D Sartin’s home. He was 32, survived by his parents Mr and Mrs S H Chandler, sister and three brothers. Funeral held at the Baptist church with Rev Purser and Rev Boone officiating. interment at Rosehill cemetery.
