Family Burned In North High Street Fire Tragedy
Early today a row of cheap frame buildings on North High Street burned. Five bodies were recovered from the ruins, including a two year old, two girls aged four and six, and the parents Betheard. The father was found with his elder daughter in his arms, both burned. The mother lay on bed and floor, clothing burned off and flesh exposed. The fire began at four o'clock and authorities were alerted by a neighbor.
