The City and State cases show multiple defendants fined 2.50 or 5.00 with costs. Notable actions include Mary Evans and Lucy Evans for alay the peace, Homer Coon fined 100 for unlawful retailing, and Tess Coleman acquitted. Several cases remain not tried or discharged.

Delinquent road tax totals for 1905 show 3765 in all districts with breakdowns 1305 in District 1 380 in District 2 406 in District 8 211 in District 4 488 in District 5. Hon M McCullough prepared the list from Road Commissioner records for Board of Supervisors and the delinquent names will go to justices of the peace within ten days. Delinquents are urged to pay at once to the sheriff to avoid extra costs.
Justice Hoffman's Court disposed of last week cases including Clara Britt with disturbing the peace 1 dollar fine and peace bond for 12 months Willis Johnson gambling five dollars and costs Mary Roberts vagrancy ten days on county farm Tosh Dukes vagrancy eighty days on farm Nellie Slade vagrancy ninety days on farm Lizzie Hardy assault and battery two dollars and fifty cents costs Ella Wilson disturbing the peace two dollars fifty cents costs Willis Johnson Andrew Martin Albert Johnson all with five dollars and costs. This week disposed included additional cases. On the docket but not tried are Joe Hickman false pretenses J M Garner assault and battery John Hardy gaming and assault and battery.
Nellie Slade a county farm escapee fought Deputy T A Willoughby Tuesday evening after a scuffle in May's quarters. Nellie tried to resist capture, struck his wife with a hammer, scratched him, and bit his hand while Vic Wilson intervened. Dr Higdon sutured Willoughby and Nellie now rests at home. The incident follows report of civil liberty movements in Russia and Finland’s shift to a constitutional regime influenced by Pobiedonostsev.
The theatrical season opens with the Glick Stock Company of 15 performers for one week at 15 25 and 35 cents. Ladies enter free with a paying companion holding a 35 cent ticket. Tickets are at Heuck's Store. The State University will have no football team this year.
