Would You Like to Live Your Life Over Again
A sermon by Rev. T DeWitt Talmage argues life cannot be lived twice. He notes the value of life, warns against wishing to restart at younger ages, and urges using remaining years for holiness and industry. He recounts Pompeii like losses and urges growth rather than regret, ending with a call to homecoming and repentance.

Rush and stampede as Cheroke Outlet settlement myth spreads
A false report of the Oklahoma bill opening the Cherokee Outlet to settlement caused a wild rush toward the Strip near Orry Kan. By nightfall about 5,000 boomers had moved, tents and wagons in tow, a bridge collapsed, three legs and a horse were killed. Correction later stated No-Man's-Land is public land, not the Strip.
