Basement boiler explodes damaging Morris stationery shop

A basement boiler at John Morris Stationery & Printing Co. exploded yesterday afternoon in 118 to 120 Monroe Street, causing 20000 dollars in damage. Several workers were badly hurt as glass and doors were blown into the street and rear sections torn up. Cause remains undetermined. Injured include Charles Wilson, Harrall, W J Hartman, Herman Swanson, J H Smith, George Burgess, and Senator Gillette.
