Lincoln County Board of Supervisors Organization January 1900
At the regular January 1900 meeting in Brookhaven Lincoln county Mississippi the newly elected board members qualified and organized. John Walker J C Bryant and W J Williams were elected to the board and W F Parsons named president. Bonds for officers including W M Rosselli and Edgar Green were approved and filed.

Lincoln County Officials Bonded for Four-Year Terms in 1900
Lincoln county Mississippi officials including Rufus R. Applewhite as sheriff and tax collector, R. W. McNair as clerk, and Duncan L. Easterling as treasurer, presented and approved bonds. Applewhite’s bond was 25000 dollars, McNair’s 5000, and Easterling’s 20000 with separate school funds bond of 11000. The board filed these bonds, adjourned, and resumed next morning to continue with appointments and accounts.
