Miss Siebles of South Remains Among Eccentric Beginnings
Miss Siebles aged eighty, long a figure on Southern streets, lived in poverty with a crutch and scant clothing. A cousin, Wm. T. Siebles of Lanier & Siebles in Montgomery, inquired after her. She traveled overseas seeking fortune, believed to be heir to wealth, but only a small sum was found at her death. Her mother and sister are buried. Christmas wishes conclude a small town notice.
