Hollywood P T A Holds First Meeting and Reforms Board
The Hollywood P T A opened its season on September 10 at Hollywood school with members from Teachers and Mothers getting acquainted. Mrs. Harold Bush introduced new board members Mrs. A Schmidt treasurer and Mrs. J E Yeverka publicity chair, replacing resignations by Mrs. R Beyer and Mrs. R Kristufek. The group planned a November 9 children’s performance at Goodman Theatre titled Ten Little Princesses and heard a talk by Miss Marjorie Tolman on defective speech and hearing. Hosts were Mesdames Ellison Henkel Kolar and Ahlgrim.

The Lincoln School PTA held its first fall meeting Tuesday with Mrs. William Harthegen presiding. After the business portion, B. D. Aurand welcomed the teachers who received corsages. Guest speaker Aurand spoke on Home and School Meet. Eighth grade mothers hosted. attendance prize went to the eighth grade. A rummage sale is set for Thursday at 3720 Grand Blvd from 9 30 a m to 5 p m.

Joy is a Riverside Brookfield High graduate and Northwestern-trained student nurse at Evanston Hospital. Lt Snapp, son of Sumner Snapp of Houston, graduated from Missouri State Teachers College and attended University of Houston, earned his medical degree at Northwestern and finished his Evanston Hospital internship in June, now stationed at William Beaumont Hospital in El Paso Texas.
