Funeral services were held for Mrs Clarence Schaffer 37 N Madison LaGrange who died Saturday morning at MacNess Memorial Hospital in Berny. The Rev W Q Halverson of the local Presbyterian church led the service at Halinwel and James chapl, followed by burial in Parkholm cemetery. Mrs Schaffer mother Mrs George H Bremner 37 N Madison and brother C W Bremner of Brookfield survive along with her husband Clarence.
Mrs. Magda Thueson 62 of Broadview died August 27 at Hinsdale sanitarium from a cerebral hemorrhage. Funeral Monday at Aberg Memorial Home with Rev. Theodore Herr and Rev. J. G. Penner officiating. Interment in Brenswood cemetery Hinsdale. Survived by husband Imar and two daughters Irene Crough and Florence Lund, plus five sisters and four brothers and four grandchildren.
Funeral services for Wilbur Lb Moore were held August 28 at 341 Sanrisite Ave Breok field with interment at the Mansfied finera rose. Surviving are his father, a sister Winifred Zeestra of Wis and Ha Py, and other relatives. He was 2 bolt agnor tame. The funeral preceded by Thursday evening Augus.

Registration for the fall term of the Adult Evening School at Lyons Township Junior College will open Tuesday September 7 and continue Wednesday September 8 and Thursday September 9. The Lyons Township High School office will be open for registration from 7 to 9 30 p.m.
A contest for naming a new property eight miles north and west of Dundee near Gilbert will involve the entire scout organization. The site forms part of a council expansion funded by a $250000 capital fund campaign launched recently, which also includes the 60 acre Northwoods summer camp near Eleho Wisconsin and a new council office on West Hillgrove Ave in LaGrange.
