Buck nuptials mark Brookfield ceremony at St Francis Xavier
Lorraine Buck daughter of Mr and Mrs Oscar Buck of Brookfield and Nick M Markovich son of Mr and Mrs George Markovich of Brookfield were married September 20 at St Francis Xavier church. Rev William J O'Brien officiated at 3 pm. 450 guests attended a reception in National Hall Brookfield. A large bridal party and attendees wore formal attire. bride wore a traditional Rose Point gown with lace and cathedral veil. she carried white orchids and stephanotis. The couple will reside at 5585 S LaGrange Rd after traveling in the south. The bride, a comptometer operator for the Burlington railroad, is a graduate of Ideal and Lyons Township High schools. the groom attended Congress Park and LTHS and works for Dolese and Shepard in Hodgkins. Out of town guests included Mr and Mrs

The former Mabel Grace Daugherty of Brookfield married Robert John Anders of Hollywood in a ceremony at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church Brookfield. Guests included family members as the service featured scripture, prayers and music. The gown was ivory satin with a long train and pearl accents, and attendants wore coordinating purple gowns.
