Lyons Township High School students conducted their first wartime air raid drill. The bell sounded with long and short rings, guiding students to crouch in the secured sewer halls away from paths, doors, and windows as per recommended procedure.

YMCA Christmas Holiday Program For West Suburban Youth
The West Suburban YMCA launches a temporary Christmas holiday program for children between Dec 24 and Jan 7. Registration runs Dec 3.
