The Lincoln school PTA annual fete acquaint dance will be held Nov 17 from 8 p m to midnight in National hall Brookfield. Everyone is invited in costume. Charles Forgue and his four piece orchestra will provide music for dancing. There will be entertainment prizes and refreshments. The dance is open to the public.

LaGrange Art League to Hold 19th Fall Exhibit
The LaGrange Art League will present its 19th annual fall exhibit November 17 and 18 in the Lyons Township High School Community Room. Public hours are 2 to 5 p m on Saturday and 2 to 5 30 p m and 7 to 9 p m on Sunday, with tea served Sunday 2 to 5 p m. About 200 paintings by members from La Grange and nearby communities will be shown. The exhibit aims to introduce current work, recognize achievements, and encourage further participation. Officers and committee members are listed with Mrs R G Hadley in charge assisted by Mrs Alfred S Nelson and committees. Ten will be served Sunday afternoon by the social committee. All are invited.
