Members aided at Hines hospital ward No 6 and plastic surgery ward with articles. An Oak Park district meeting attendees list is noted. The group planned poppy day activities and a Gold Star mothers event on May 13 and 24 with veterans making red poppies for charity.

Joan, class of '46, earns Alpha Lambda Delta recognition for a 4.5 average. Martin and William, ex G I s from classes '43 and '44, qualify for Phi Eta Sigma freshman honor society.
