LTJC Runners Face Three Big Meets This Month
LTJC trackmen led by Max Armer head to Naperville for the Midwest Invitational at North Central College with entries in the 12 up medley relay and the eighth lap sprint relay. Nak Heath Calihan and Day run the medley while Heath Pierce Calihan and Jordan contest the sprint. Sprint legs vary with Nak three laps, Heath two, Calihan one, Day six. medley features two laps by Heath and Day and one by Calihan. Also on LTJC docket are the Illinois Tech relays on March 12 and the Daily News relays on March 19.

Services were held for Dr Frank M Beegle at Hallowell and James chapel with Rev H Kramer officiating. Born 1889 in Williamsport Pa he studied at Penn State Columbia University and worked as chief chemist for Dodge Brothers before joining Protective Coating Corp. Survivors include wife Marguerite and sons Joseph and Paul with daughters Clarisse Fehrmann and Marguerite.
