Far Post ZeG8 travels to Indiana to face Lovell Brookfield VFW in Bracket No 1 of the Legion tourney. Safety Lanes provides deluxe seating for a day of fun with three buses carrying VFW members and guests from Brookfield to the two games at the Post Club House on Ogden Avenue.

Mr and Mrs Robert Fischer of 522 South Ninth avenue LaGrange welcomed a son born June 26 at Hinsdale sanitarium named Wayne Charles. Mrs Fischer formerly Donna Pankow of Brookfield. Mr and Mrs John Porsche formerly of Brookfield now Orr Minnesota are parents of a daughter born May 23 named Sharie weighing 6 lbs 14 oz at birth.
John H. McHale of 9402 Congress Park Avenue and Shirley Jones of 4324 South Maple Avenue Brookfield were married at St Barbara's church at 10 a.m. June 26. A wedding breakfast at the Graemere hotel in Chicago followed by a reception. Mrs Jones is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Jules J Jones of Maple Avenue. She attended St Barbara's and LTHS and works at Western Electric. The couple will reside with the bride's parents.
