The Baptist Home and Hospital of Maywood formed an association with the University of Illinois College of Medicine to strengthen medical services and study aging. Dr. Sanford A. Franzblau will serve as medical director, leading a five point plan including upgraded facilities, diagnostic labs, medical records, geriatrics nursing, tailored therapeutic diets, and controlled aging research.
