Czechowitz Missionary On China Boat Work During War Leave
Miss Czechowitz, daughter of Mrs. Mary Towitz, spent four and a half years with a Canton boat mission in China and Kowloon City. She and a senior missionary conducted evangelistic services, a weekday school, and a youth program drawing over 100 youths on the boat. They faced danger from Red troops and described Communist promises as false, noting 22 converts and baptisms. She returned via Singapore and England, now on a year’s leave reporting to church groups.
