Huberty of 3800 Sunnyside died at Hines hospital after a brief illness at age 63. Born April 24, 1890 in Minnesota, he served in World War I with the 31st Train Co. E in England Luxembourg and Germany. Funeral held at Iban Funeral Home with Rev. George Vulgars officiating. Burial at Pel Hill Gardens. Post 2868 provided pallbearers. He leaves wife Ruth Cyboran, two children James and Michael, and brother Frank.
Mary Forbes of 4237 Ray Avenue Congress Park passed away at home last Tuesday at age 73. She was survived by two sons John and Earl and by Mrs Katherine Polsiey and Ben Cissna. Funeral services were held Thursday at the Nepis Funeral Home with Rev C A Imberlin officiating. Burial followed at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
Easter services span Brookfield churches with 6:30 am Aureis at St Pauls and 11 am Congregational worship. Brookfield Baptist hosts Easter program at Riverside Brookfield High on April 18 at 7 pm with a large Sunday school lineup and musical numbers.
Joseph E. Porter aged 40 who died April 12 at MacNeal Memorial Hospital was buried Wednesday after funeral services at St Barbara’s Catholic church. He resided in Brookfield for four years and is survived by his widow Mildred M. Sundermeyer and a daughter Myra Lee.
