Horace Martwick Dies in Riverside

Horace A. Martwick of 125 Woodside Rd Riverside died at home last Friday after a brief illness from a cerebral hemorrhage. He was 56, a prominent local osteopath who practiced in Riverside and had long run his business here. Born in Twaki New York, he studied at the Chicago College of Caventiatis and is survived by his widow and a daughter Joan Mart-Japsen of the north side. Funeral services were held Monday at Ivin's Chapel Burlington Rd with burial in Bronswood cemetery.

Pioneering Baker Dies at 77 in Congress Park

Danish born Joseph Berg 1868 to 194?, longtime Chicago baker and postmaster for Congress Park from 1909 to 1923. He moved to Congress Park after a Dundee stint and later lived with his daughter at 4112 Devo. Survived by son Walter H. Berg and two grandchildren Cynthia Gene Berg and Laurel Anna.

Suburban council to buy 500 acre Scout camp in Wisconsin

West Suburban Boy Scout council purchases a 500 acre site in northern Wisconsin to supplement Camp Delavan. Cremation for Churchwell M. Davis Held at Woodlawn

Funeral services for Churchwell M. Davis of 4533 Devo ve. Congress Park, age 79, were held Monday at Ripps Funeral Home Burlington Rd. Cremation followed at Woodlawn Cemetery. Davis died March 19 after a stroke. He had been in poor health a month at his sister Candice E. Harris’s Riverside home. Surviving are four children.

Kilburn MacMurraugh 18 son of Mr and Mrs A E Murraugh 3500 Forest Ave Brookfield changed seats with a companion just before a highway 101 crash near Buellton Santa Barbara county last Friday one killed and three injured. He graduated Riverside Brookfield high school as an honor student and is a Stanford freshman employed in the Citizens Publishing Co mail room. He was hospitalized in Santa Maria and later spoke with his parents by phone.
