Medical Fraternity Blocks Lorenz Free Clinics
Years ago Dr. Lorenz came to America and cured J Oyden Armour’s daughter of a hip disease, earning a handsome fee but also providing free clinics to hospitals. He now intends to offer free clinics to repay Austria’s generosity, yet the medical fraternity here resists, accusing him of veiled self interest and clashing with supposed professional ethics.

Damaged Corn Effects on Hogs and Cattle Study
Purdue University experiments show damaged corn from earworm or mold harms cattle more than hogs. Grass in fields offers partial protection, and danger rises with large quantities fed exclusively. Symptoms include muscle tremors, frightened eyes, intoxicated gait, and reduced appetite. Affected animals should be moved to dry quarters and not returned to corn fields until moldy corn is consumed by non susceptible stock.
