School Drivers Face License Fees From Federal Government
Trustee Russell was told by Kent land officials that auto drivers contracting with private vehicles to transport children to and from school must pay federal license fees. Fees apply for 1919 1920 and 1921 at 10 dollars per year with seven children and 20 dollars with more. Drivers were summoned to appear in Kentland on Thursday to settle with the revenue agent. Township bus drivers remain unaffected.
