Local Bronte Business Men Back NRA Efforts
Bronte business leaders pledge wholehearted cooperation with the NRA since its inception. A mass meeting formed a local NRA committee led by H. T. Good with Rev. Wallace N. Danson and others to decide on a Now is the Time to Buy campaign funded by subscriptions. The move follows the national program to place education ads in the town newspaper and requires further endorsement by business interests. Also, Mrs. I. A. Hankins spoke to the P T A on her visit to the Century of Progress and described the World’s Fair, its exhibits, and scenes, followed by a routine meeting and a motion to fund a first aid kit for the school.
