A reunion at Abilene Lake state park hosted by A Ragsdale and Downey families on Sunday. Picnic lunch served at noon for 44 guests. Three sets of twins attended including Will Downey family members and relatives from Clifton, Hamlin, Blackwell, Winters, Spur, Abilene, and Ovala with numerous children and spouses listed.
A baby girl named Bonnie Jordan was born to Mr and Mrs Pete Saunders. Geraldine Jordan, a Tech student in Lubbock, visited her parents Mr and Mrs R Jordan this weekend. Mr and Mrs WW Youngblood visited their daughter Geraldine at McMurry College while also visiting Brownfield relatives. A Dearing sewing machine is for sale at Bronte Furniture Exchange. Mrs A J Jones tends to her father C M Hunt of Bradshaw who is in serious condition. Miss Marjorie Jones of McMurry College was active in several campus clubs after being initiated into the T I P sorority. Used furniture and stoves are offered by Bronze Furni East Ave San Angelo.
