Thursday of last week Homer Earp of Fort Worth visited Bronte to transact business. He owns the old Home place on the Robert Lee highway and planned to lease it to W. O. Eubanks for a number of years. Also visiting were Mr. and Mrs. H. Sarp and Mrs. Guy Braselton of Abilene.

School Faculty Picnic and Bird Supper Report
On Monday the school faculty and guests held a picnic at Elmer Hudman's place with a rifle contest for both women and men. The menu featured barbe cued dove, potatoes, beans, salad, coffee, and watermelon. attendees included Mrs. Robin Lambert, Mrs. Dooley, Miss Nel Lowry, Jo Bill Duckworth, Juanita Mings, Joan Vanderford, and several couples and clergy.
