The Bronte Enterprise publishes its publisher manager D. M. West and notes its subscription rate of 100 dollars a year out of state. It is entered as second class matter at the Bronte Texas post office on March 1, 1918 under the act of August 12 1871. The paper invites corrections if any erroneous reflections injure character or reputation.
West Texas Utilities crews from Baird restored power to Clyde within minutes after a Friday tornado that killed 14 and damaged property. G E Chisholm reported lines for many blocks were rebuilt quickly. Damage to the electric system was under 10000 dollars and crews aided in rescue along with the highway patrol.
We announce the ticket for the Temperatic Primary on July 23. For State Senator 25th District E. M. Davis seeking reelection and Penrose B. Metcalfe as candidate. For County Judge McNeil Wylie seeking reelection and J. G Jordan with Roy Brey as associates.

They just returned from an extended California vacation and had not seen each other in ten years. The fire that destroyed the Turner home unsettled the family but they continue visiting together.
Mrs M P Coleman Mrs Elva McCutchen Mrs Emmet Caperton Mrs Robt Coleman and Miss Marjorie Thrasher of Hobbs New Mexico visited Bronte to hear Lee O'Damvis speak in Ballinger in support of his gubernatorial bid.
