Willis Smith of Coke County seeks reelection as county clerk with no opponent in the upcoming primary on Saturday. The popular official thanks readers and urges turnout, noting his 80 appreciation for the lack of challengers and directing readers to his advertise ment elsewhere in The Enterprise.
Fr E Modgling appeals to Coke County voters in a final campaign letter. He stresses lifelong residence and gratitude for courteous neighbors and asks all to cooperate whether he wins or helps his opponent become a good sheriff.
