Publication notice lists D. M. West as publisher manager and notes subscription rates, one dollar per year within the state and one fifty per year out of state. The paper is entered as second class matter at the Bronte Texas post office under the 1871 act.
The Planter's Gin Company and Robert Lee Gin Company will keep offices open every Saturday for four weeks starting February 12 to help farmers check cotton sales certificates. Producers unsure if certificates were renewed should visit the County Agents Office to verify records and ensure certificates are turned in with buyers if needed.
Friends of Buck Taylor regret to report he is suffering from a heart lesion. The notice notes concern for his condition and asks well wishes from the community.
The Woman's Missionary Society gathered at Mrs. R. J. Kirk's home for a Bible study lesson titled The Radiant Heart led by Mrs. P. G. Dabney. Refreshments were served to Mesdames Oxford Raney Prank Yeuree A J Jones J W Leach T A Carliste B P G Dabeev A Oden and the hostess. Next meeting is with Mrs. L Sweet. Several residents and visitors are listed, including families from Silver Abilene and Tucumcari. The sick list includes Robert Jordan and others in Blackwell and nearby towns.
Atie Copeland of Abi lene visited Brickwell over the weekend, stopping to see local landmarks and catch up with friends during a short trip.
Raymond Coleman’s 1937 Ford V-8 Tudor was damaged by fire last week. The accident occurred two miles west of Bronte on Highway 158, injuring Coleman with minor burns to the face and hands.
A milk shop asks customers to return all Milk bottles daily to the store. It thanks patrons for their daily attention and patronage and requests effort to collect bottles promptly.
The Enterprise endorses Chapman for Coke County treasurer. A long-time resident since arriving in Bronte twenty five years ago he is a native Texan with thirty years in railroad work and accounting. He promises to bring a business like approach and solid book keeping to the office.

Mrs Ernest Buford advertises dressmaking and other sewing near the Frank Hearrell lace, north of the telephone office. Prices are very reasonable and patronage is appreciated.
Mr Chapman pledges to lodge himself in office if the people honor him with the role. He promises his best attention and a strictly business administration of district affairs. Voters are urged to meet him.
