Mrs Callie Bennet receives promotion as superintendent of the Bronte WPA sewing room now a separate project in Coke County. Eva Vowell of Robert Lee becomes superintendent of the Robert Lee project. Bennet's higher salary follows the promotion and is seen as Christmas cheer. T. C. Price, Bronte retiree, now a rancher, was in Ballinger Monday.
The Senior class sponsors the play And Mary Did by L. G. Worcester. Cast includes Irene Lloyd Noel Percifull Helen Beaty Jane Cumbie Edward Williams Betty Jo Glenn Bill Baker Dorothy Meadow Kathryn Whitt Corrine Brunson Robert Brunson with Miss Vanderford producing. Robert Brunson received a birthday dinner hosted by his parents Mr and Mrs Otis Brunson on Sunday December 3 in honor of the football team and coach. Guests included Coach W W Mullins Noel Percifull J B Parker Homer Ivey Glenn Ivey Paul Rogers James Vaughn Heidel Brunson Floyd Hudman Duane Wrinkle Norman Brunson Benny Gilbert Sr Reverend Eldridge Mr and Mrs Otis Brunson and Darlene. Mr and Mrs Percy Myers and son have moved to Caddo for a ranch job.
