Annual Homecoming of Pioneers at Edith Sunday
The 1938 Edith Coke county Pioneer Homecoming drew many survivors and descendants from Dallas Lubbock and Deming New Mexico. Rev C D Ross of Lubbock spoke, recalling days gone by and setting a keynote tone for the afternoon program. Edith residents provided a hearty lunch, barbecuing sixteen kids for the event.

Norton community sees new Morrison Ely gin plant ready
