A large open house honored Mr. and Mrs. J I Adair for their Golden Wedding Anniversary hosted by their five children James Tolbert Adair Doyle Adair George Faulk Margi Bennie Carol Oglesby and the families. Attendees included out of town guests from Midland San Angelo Lubbock Leakey Uvalde Spearman Monahans Odessa Ballinger and San Angelo with a family dinner held at Mrs Adair's mother Mrs J M Rutherford's home after the event.

Miss Virginia Sissom Weds Ellis Freeman In Garden Ceremony

Miss Virginia Diane Sissom and Ellis Rae Freeman exchanged vows Saturday September 3 at 6 p.m. in a garden setting at the Jess Craig home near Blackwell. Rev. Wayne N. Stout officiated as family members and friends witnessed the ceremony and a reception followed. The couple will live in Abilene where Freeman works for a drilling firm.
