The Bronte Roping Club arena hosts a horse club gymkhana this Saturday at 1:00 p.m. Youth 19 and under can enter in junior and senior divisions with trophies for top two and ribbons for top six. Events include barrel racing pole bending goat roping flag racing steer riding and hair pulling. Bronze Roping Club sponsors a barbecue and steer roping after events.
George N. Faulk a Midland geologist and son in law of Mr and Mrs J I Adair of Bronte was elected vice president of the John Dalrymple Class during the 130th reunion of El Paso Scottish Rite bodies. The class interrupted its degree work for the 96 West Texas Masons entering the Scottish Rite. Wilton G Robertson formerly of Robert Lee is president of the class.
Mrs Collins Sayner presented the program for the Diversity Club meeting at Mrs D K Glenn home. She opened with a talk on loveliness and screened the film Lessons in Loveliness. Refreshments were served to Mrs George Thomas and J T.
