Wesley R. Nelson regional director of the U S Bureau of Reclamation spoke at the Texas Water Conservation Association meeting in Austin outlining four key factors water land people and engineering works for future reclamation. He cited plans for a Buffalo Creek dam near Robert Lee to irrigate 58 000 acres provide municipal water for Robert Lee Ballinger and Miles and include recreation fish propagation and some flood control and noted the project report was submitted to Washington.
