Ida Lee Parker To Compete In State 4-H Dress Revue
Ida Lee Parker 17 daughter of Mr and Mrs Truman Parker Bronte will compete among forty six contestants in the 1964 State 4 H Dress Revue in Dallas October 16 and 17 with judging Oct 16 and two public presentations Oct 17 in State Fair Park Women Building. She is Bronte High School senior and co chair of the Coke County 4 H council. The winner earns an all expense trip to the National 4 H Congress in Chicago and will model at the national event.

The Coke County Unit of the Texas State Teachers Association held a 7 p.m. meeting in Bronte with 46 attendees from Bronte Robert Lee and Silver schools. J T Henry presided and Don Swinney was approved as a non voting delegate to the San Antonio convention. The program featured a taped speech by Carl Winters titled Today's Youth Tomorrow's World.
