Bronte welcomes Clement Bros and their personnel arriving to begin work on the Robert Lee Dam project. The town promotes a new school complex and modern facilities including a high school gym and underground classrooms. Five churches, paved streets, 175 blocks, and local services support Bronte’s growth with banks, buses, rail lines, and a 25 bed hospital on Highway 277.
