The first Sunday in October marks the start of the Methodist Church School year. Last Sunday the local church held promotion day with the Children's Department leading the morning worship after which the teachers guided the service.
Members welcomed and moved between departments as Rudy Phillips advances to beginners and several others advance from beginners to primary junior and intermediate levels. Attendance pins and wreaths honor perfect and continuous attendance across one to five years for listed members.
