Thanksgiving Visits and Local Social Roundup in Blackwell
Families from Blackwell, Big Spring, Snyder and surrounding towns gathered for Thanksgiving with relatives in Artesia and elsewhere. Guests included the Wilsons and Van Zandts, along with numerous local residents visiting kin, attending church events, and sharing meals. The Blackwell basketball team played Peacock with 31 to 27 win for the boys and a 17 to 36 loss for the girls, while WSCS members met at Mrs. T. A. Carlisle’s home for Bible study and a devotional.
