Uncle Huie rails at Washington on economy talk and excess military gear

Uncle Huie denounces federal officials for using the word economy on radio and TV while criticizing Pentagon spending. He notes vast military stockpiles, storage costs, and a billion dollars in unused uniform clothes, arguing overstocked items persist despite calls for thrift. He ends with a space science quip and a jab at Washington. The letter reflects rural skepticism toward national budget rhetoric and defense procurement.
