WMU meeting and community updates from Blackwell

The Women's Missionary Union met at First Baptist Church with Ely presiding and Thelma Smith presenting Summer Echo Notes. Attendees included Vera Brynt Otin Corley and Barbara Smith among others. birthday celebrations for Susie Bryant and Bama Sliger were hosted at Sliger’s home with guests including E. T. Henson and Vera Bryant. A Halloween carnival at Blackwell High School drew a good crowd and was deemed a big success. further attendance noted at a fourth Sunday singing at Maryneal with Vera Gryant and Barbara Smith among attendees.
