Class Prophecy Presents 1948 Graduates in Modern Roles
A spoof prophecy lists 1948 alumni in 1950s roles across the nation. Names include J. O. Landers walking to Russia, Jr. Hipp as a Fort Chadbourne train engineer, Bobbie Miller in Norton with twins, Howard Smith and Billy Joe Luckett in New York gambling circles, and Dolan Mackey a moneyed banker with airplanes. The piece stitches fame, work, and whimsy for a parade of former classmates.
